Bids will be received by the Board of Clare County Road Commissioners at their office at
3900 E. Mannsiding Road, Harrison, Michigan, 48625 (telephone 989-539-2151)
until 10:00 a.m., March 26th, 2019 and then opened and read for the following project.

             ITEM #1        Winterfield Township –    4,000 Tons of 22A Mod. Or 23A MDOT Gravel

                                     -Pine/Partridge from Twin Lakes to Forest  

                         #2       Summerfield Township –   4,280 Tons of 22A Mod. Or 23A MDOT Gravel

                                     -Long Lake Rd. from Old State east to township line      

                         #3       Frost Township –              3,784 Tons of 22A Mod. Or 23A MDOT Gravel

                                    -West Long Lake Drive from Long Lake to Forest Rd

                                     Frost Township-               5,086 Tons of 22A Mod. Or 23A MDOT Gravel

                                    -Ridge Road, Ball Ave., E. Long Lake

 *Awarded Gravel Suppliers Will Need To Deliver 50% of Tonnage By June 30th

   Bids shall be in accordance with the specifications, obtainable from the road commission office.  Bids shall be submitted upon the forms provided.  Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked on the outside as to their contents.  The Board of County Road Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any defects and accept the bid which in their opinion is in the best interests of the Clare County Road Commission. The bid unit prices may be renewed for up to 3 years if mutually agreed upon by both parties. The extension of bids shall also apply to City of Harrison, City of Clare, Village of Farwell, MDOT and all adjacent counties.

ROUTING & CRACK FILLING
HARRISON, MICHIGAN

Sealed proposals will be received by the Clare County Road Commission at their office, 3900 E Mannsiding Rd, Harrison, Michigan until 9:00am, Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read for the following:

ROUTING & CRACK FILLING WITH CRAFCO 34244 OR 34221

            The above material must meet current Michigan Department of Transportation specification or Clare County Road Commission specifications.

            Proposals will be accepted on Road Commission form only and are to be in a sealed envelope plainly marked

“ROUTING & CRACK FILLING BID – 2019”

            Any further information may be obtained at the Clare County Road Commission offices at the above address or on our web page www.clarecrc.com.  

Bids will be publicly opened, read and available for review at the time specified. Following the bid opening the bids are reviewed by various staff members in order to make a recommendation to the County Board of Road Commissioners at its next regular meeting. During this time period the bids are closed and information regarding the bids is not available. Bids will be awarded at the next regularly scheduled Board Meeting of the Board of County Road Commissioners following the due date for receipt of bids.

The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of same, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in bids and to make the award in whole or in part as may appear to be in the best interest of the Clare County Road Commission and Clare County.
