Seasonal Weight and Speed restrictions will be enforced on Clare County Roads until further notice.
Over 12′ 6″ wide/over 40% weight/over 13′ 6″ high
Over 75′ combination or 45′ one unit
SINGLE MOVE PERMIT (UP TO 5 DAYS)…………………. $25.00
MULTIPLE MOVE PERMIT (UP TO 5 DAYS)…………….. $50.00
EXTENDED PERMIT PER UNIT……………………………….. $100.00
Under 12′ 6″/under 140% weight/under 13′ 6″ high

Single move/building move permit shall be $100.00 plus actual expense incurred by the Clare County Road Commission for sign relocation, route inspections, etc.

No permit required for gravel roads.
