October 17Gravel Road ProblemsDirectionsPotholes all over makes it hard to go down the road. Rain has significantly made the roads worse. There's a washout towards the hill on Russel on the sides of the road. View Photo
November 6Gravel Road ProblemsDirectionsThese roads in Redding township need grading. It’s been a while since Gladwin Road has been done and even longer for Grass Lake Ave. But the holes are becoming unsafe. See uploaded picture for road reference. View Photo
November 9Gravel Road ProblemsDirectionsEarlier this week, I submitted a service request for roads in Redding township. Attached is a photo for reference. Gladwin and grass lake appear to have been brushed? It did not fix the holes on the roads. They north more work. View Photo
November 11Drainage, Water, or WashoutDirectionsThese water holes are on Jackson Ave. between Adams rd. and Clear Lake rd. This is three days after the rain. They need to be filled and trenched to allow the water to drain away. There are several more anywheres on Jackson Ave., Dover rd and Harding rd. Some are at the base of hills where someone has to dodge around it making it quite hazardous. Thang you for your consideration.View Photo
November 13Gravel Road ProblemsDirectionsS Athey between Hatton and Lincoln...large holes. The greater only come down to Hatton and then stopped it's beyond Hatton road north of Hatton.View Photo
November 16Gravel Road ProblemsDirectionsPot holes very deep. Up towards the top of the hill there are rocks/boulders sticking out that could pop a tire. With winter coming and everything freezing this will only get worse if not taken care of before winter View Photo
November 22Drainage, Water, or WashoutDirectionsThe area on the right side of the photo has been an issue for over a year. The fishing hole on the left, is in front of my driveway. It was a small puddle, but after being graded a couple weeks ago, it is now substantially larger and once again flowing over my berm. The culvert needs to be addressed along with several other issues. I've talked to several people in the neighborhood and based on what they've said, it's just not been maintained over the years. My actual address is 6055 Parker Dr. The corner of Parker and Loranger. My phone number is 616-813-1067.View Photo
November 25Drainage, Water, or WashoutDirectionsHoping for help or direction to. Downstream culvert at Five Lakes dam plugged last week so water exceeded height of culvert and was working up to road level. We’ve worked the blockage the last week keeping flow open little by little. It appears to me the tree makes a obstacle that catches leaves, debris and we had something like a beaver dam. The pile of leaves is packed like a premium cigar and is proving very, very difficult to remove. We believe culvert is open now with issue left being first few feet of discharge. Have pics before we opened culvert if requested. View Photo
December 4Gravel Road ProblemsDirectionsLarge pot holes up to 2-4' in diameter along with 1' pot holes all over road. Hard to drive and has only gotten worse. Snow is just compacting in the holes and making them larger/deeper.View Photo

January 11Snow Removal/Icy RoadsDirectionsThe address above isn't correct, and it won't let me change it. My address is 8842 S. Circle E dr. As you can see, the guy leaves 3 feet of the road next to the driveway unplowed. This happens every time it snows for the past 8 years. It'd appreciate it if he can do the road on the west side of the road on S.. Circle E dr,( closer to the actual driveway). I shouldn't have to clear the road by myself. Thank you. Questions? Call me at 989-513-5915 View Photo
January 12Snow Removal/Icy RoadsDirectionsWe have not been plowed since the original snow fell Monday-Tuesday. Needs to be done before more comesView Photo
January 13Snow Removal/Icy RoadsDirectionsOnly submitting a service request because lydell rd has not been plowed yet and there is over a foot of snow on the road making travel almost impossible I understand primary roads are the first done and this road is a dirt road but it is in desperate need of a plowView Photo

January 20Snow Removal/Icy RoadsDirectionsFrom us 10 west( Ludington dr) and gibson down to the county line (clareola) the main road still has way to much ice and has been this way for over a week now. I've lived on the road for 25 years now and travel on it every day to evart and I've never seen it look like this still a week after the storm and yet it's better once you into Osceola and us 127 is good from Mt pleasant but once you get to clare it starts with the ice spots. Not sure what's going on and why we haven't even seen a truck out here in days. The road was almost impassible for 3 to4 days after the storm and was extremely dangerous View Photo
January 30Drainage, Water, or WashoutDirectionsPlease fill the area DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF the two mailboxes across from 3275 Woods Rd. Waste Management changed their route and the trucks have left a depression that collects and holds water. Depending on the time of year, there could be 10-20 feet of standing water, 3-5” deep, for several days following a rain storm or thawing snow. Refer to the attached photo. Much appreciated. Thank you.View Photo
February 2Drainage, Water, or WashoutDirections2-1-2024. Thank you for attempting to fill in the large puddle DIRECTLY in front of our mail boxes. Missed it. By a lot! The puddle, which forms during a rain storm, or from melting snow, is a 20’ long, 3-5” deep depression caused by Waste Management trucks and mail delivery vehicles. While it is in place (often) my wife must wear high, rubber boots to retrieve out mail from the box. This water-filled depression affects our household and two of our neighbors. PLEASE - before dumping more fill in the middle of Woods Rd, which exacerbates the problem, call us (989-302-2352) or stop at our house (3275 Woods Rd). We would be happy to meet the driver and pinpoint the problem area. The depression is NOT in the middle of the road. It IS on the east side of Woods Rd. If a load is delivered and scraped in the direction of the mail boxes, I would be equally happy to rake the fill into the depression. Again - thank you for maintaining our roads. Can’t be an easy job.View Photo

February 7Gravel Road ProblemsDirectionsHello, Prior to the first snowfall of this winter we requested that Little George Lake Rd be graded, but that never happened. The road is currently in terrible condition. It is like trying to drive through a mine field and it is destroying our vehicles. I invite anyone from the Clare County Road Commision to come drive down this road a couple times with their personal vehicles to see first-hand how bad this road is. In just the past few months we've had a wheel bearing go out, an exhaust system fall apart and, just yesterday, a CV shaft completely snap (picture uploaded). I'm not sure what can be done this time of year, but this road needs to be fixed soon and fixed PROPERLY. View Photo

February 23Brush ControlDirectionsBrush overhangs on Harding rd, causes drivers to avoid by moving to center of the road and some are at or near the crests of hills. Can’t see oncoming traffic and causes dangerous situationsView Photo
